Plant Description: Green stringy stem with white flowers, yellow center and sweet fruity aroma

Parts: Flowers

Extraction Method: Steam distillation

Chemical Constituents: Anthemis nobilis, Angelic, Methacrylic, Tiglic (Acid,) Azuline (Sesquinterpene,) Matricaria chamomilla, Cuminic (Aldehyde)

Precautions: Pregnancy

Properties: anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiallergenic, antidepressant, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, diuretic, emmenagogue, nervine, sedative, tonic, anticancer

Family: Labiatae

Origin: India, Malaysia, Paraguay

Plant Description: Bushy plant, sturdy hairy stem, white/purple flower with a strong earthy, exotic musky sweet aroma. 

Parts: Young leaves, dried and fermented

Extraction Method: Steam distillation

Chemical Constituents: B-Patchoulene, A-Guaiene, Caryophyllene, A-Patchoulene, Seychellene, A-Bulnesene, Norpatchoulenol, Patchouli (Alcohol and Pogostol)

Precautions: Non Toxic. Some have a loss of appetite. Aroma may be too intense for some

Properties: antidepressant, antiphlogistic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, astringent, aicatrisant, cytophylactic, deodorant, diuretic, febrifuge, fungicide, insecticide, sedative

Precautions: Contains pinocamphone, pregnancy, high blood pressure or epilepsy

Properties: anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, cardiac, digestive, emmenagogue, nervine, sedative, tonic
